From the moment we register your domain name to the day your website goes live, every digital asset we create or configure on your behalf belongs to your business — not to Cloud Automations LLC.
This is a principle we hold firmly. We manage your digital infrastructure on your behalf; we do not take ownership of it. Your domain name is registered in your business's name. Your website files belong to you. Your hosting account is yours. Your corporate email accounts are yours. We are the managers — you are the owner.
💡 Why this matters: Some technology providers register client domains and hosting accounts under their own company name — which means clients have no direct access to their own assets and can be held hostage if they want to leave. Cloud Automations LLC does not operate this way. Your assets are yours from day one.
What We Own vs. What You Own
Your Domain Name
Registered in your business name. You hold the ownership rights. We manage renewals and DNS settings on your behalf during the contract period.
Your Website
All website files — design, pages, content, images — belong to your business. We build it and host it; you own it.
Your Email Accounts
Your corporate email addresses are configured under your domain and are entirely yours. All email data remains yours at all times.
Your Content
All text, images, branding, and media on your website belongs to your business. We never claim rights over any content we create for you.
What Happens at the End of the Contract Period?
Our consulting packages run on an annual basis. When your contract period comes to an end, you have full flexibility in how you'd like to proceed:
- Renew with Cloud Automations LLC — continue on another year of fully managed support, maintenance, and service
- Take self-management — if you decide you'd like to manage your domain, hosting, and website independently, we facilitate a full and orderly handover of all assets to you
- Transfer to another provider — if you choose to work with a different provider, we transfer all assets cleanly and professionally
Our Handover Policy: Full Transfer, No Restrictions
If at the end of your contract period your business decides to self-manage or move to a different provider, Cloud Automations LLC will transfer full control of all assets to you — including your domain registration, hosting account credentials, website files, and email account access.
We do not hold assets hostage, charge transfer fees, or create barriers to exit. We believe that a client who leaves on good terms and with their assets intact is more valuable to us long-term than one who is forced to stay. Our goal is to earn continued business through the quality of our work — not through contractual lock-in.
The only requirement is that the handover is coordinated through our team to ensure nothing is lost, misconfigured, or interrupted during the transition. We schedule a handover session, walk you through access to every platform, and confirm everything is fully in your hands before closing the engagement.
What If I Want to Renew?
Most of our clients choose to renew their engagement with Cloud Automations LLC at the end of the contract period. Fully managing your own hosting, domain renewals, security updates, email administration, and website maintenance is a significant time commitment — and most business owners find that continuing to have our team handle it is well worth the investment.
Renewal discussions begin approximately 60 days before your contract end date. We review what has been accomplished during the year, discuss any changes or additions you'd like for the coming year, and agree on the scope before renewing. There is never any pressure to renew — the decision is entirely yours.
